Using the Buddy update master/slave has been a lifesavor for our remote sites with poor bandwidth. But is there a way to not allow a downgrade of software if an old master comes online? A check box or something that would not allow this?
Could you check if buddy_server_candidates helps here: https://kb.igel.com/igelos-11.08.330/en/configuring-the-buddy-update-client-88019284.html
Thank you Perusat, sir. The issue we had, was one of the old buddy update servers, that was offline and on a older version of firmware, got powered back on, and the current buddy update server with the newer firmware got powered off. After the clients got rebooted, they found the old server, and downgraded the firmware.
