Currently, when using a .GIF file for a custom bootsplash, only the first frame is displayed. This is due to animated gifs not being supported.
If we are provided documentation on how to change the series of images the default animated IGEL bootsplash uses, animated gif support would not be necessary - but appreciated.
I love it when this is implemented.
