When installing apps on a Distro of Linux, it does not require a reboot.. Can we work on getting IGEL there, it’s now Debian Based, so only reboot should be a Kernel Upgrade.
The forced reboots for every minor app install are one of the main reasons I delayed any OS12 deployments. A major reason to use thin client os is for the system to be invisible to associates (they don’t have to think about it working or not working) if I have reboots for minor software updates suddenly the associate ‘notice’ that the system exists and how it affects their work.
