We’d like to have a feature to lockout the entire UI for the end user with a customizable overlay during base OS and app updates. This UI lockout would need to run on top of any existing applications such as the IAFI login/lock screen, but still allow the screensaver to turn on if/when triggered.
This would help streamline updates for the end users so they are not trying to use them while they’re updating. It would help us admins from having to manually script our own solutions as well. Ideally this would also tie into any feature or exisitng script where we’d only trigger updates during maintenance windows and while the machine is idle for a certain number of minutes as well.
