Clients should be automatically blocked based on the “Last Contact” entry.
For example, all clients that have not logged into the UMS for more than 60 days should be automatically moved to a “Unused Clients” folder. After being moved, the client’s license should be revoked, and the message “Client locked. Please contact IT” should appear on the client’s display. The client should then no longer be usable until it has been reactivated by IT.
We have already tested this using a device attribute of type “List” containing ‘Yes’ or “No.” This attribute can then be set for clients. Subsequently, the client is moved to the folder based on a default directory rule. The folder contains a profile with a desktop background displaying the text and a lock screen with local login.
The problem is that the device attribute is assigned manually and not based on the “Last Contact” entry, since this entry is not read from the default directory.
