The recent IGEL OS 12.8 firmware is much heavier on resources and less responsive than previous 12.7.x releases.

This makes it slugging when installed on older edge clients with 2GB RAM Wyse 3040 device, sitll widely used by IGEL customers.

For best ROI from IGEL subscription, support for Wyse 3040 should be maintained to avoid costly device swap, especially during the period or chip cristis.
