UMS WebApp Shadowing Status-Messages#135

If a device is (securely) shadowed via the WebApp and the user needs to approve this, there is currently no direct way to determine if the device is (technically) not responding to the shadowing request, the user is not approving the request, or the device is not configured to be (securely) shadowed. The shading request simply ends after a timeout. The only way for the requestor to determine this is to look at the assigned profiles and find out if the user needs to approve the request. Also, the requestor may not have permission to “send settings to the device” to ensure that the configuration shown in the WebApp matches the one on the device, as this is also not currently visible in the WebApp.

I’m so sorry but we have to reject this proposal, we have passed this feedback to PM. They are evaluating it but I can’t promise it will get implemented since it means a huge effort and the upvotes are not there…
