Would like to download a license from the license portal that supports x number of devices. This license file could be uploaded to the UMS server, which would hand out licenses to end devices. Licenses could expire periodically and/or be revoked if a client doesn’t check in with UMS. This would support manufacturing / industrial use cases where devices and UMS are behind a firewall without access to the internet (similar to Microsoft RDS Per Device\User CALs).
Currently, replacing an end device that fails requires accessing the IGEL License Portal to supply a MAC address and download a new license file. This is time consuming and can require off hours support.
