It appears when you use the “Send ICG Configuration” in UMS, it only sends the connection info of the selected ICG, not all of them if you have multiple.
Can information about all ICG’s be sent so when switching from UMS to ICG it can connect to any of them if the last one it connected to is offline?
Here’s our scenerio:
You have 2 ICGs. 1 at a primary data center, 1 at a DR datacenter.
You send a laptop the ICG config via UMS of the primary ICG.
If this laptop is external and the Primary datacenter goes down, it will automatically failover and try to connect to the DR ICG.
However, if the laptop is internal when the primary datacenter goes down and moved external that doesn’t seem to happen. The laptop will never attempt to connect to the DR ICG at this point when trying to switching from UMS to ICG. Its only trying to connect to the last ICG it connected to (the primary in this case).
