It should be possible to customize the Dual Boot Menu—for instance, to disable advanced settings within the production system, thereby preventing end users from making configuration changes directly on the device. Access to these advanced settings should then require a password and/or hotkey combination, managed by IT Support, to unlock these capabilities.
