Renaming/Disable or deletion of the freely writable attributes under system informations#7

We want to disable/invisible the freely writeable attributes under system informations like serial number. Serial number is a designation of a device that is clearly defined by the manufacturer, as is also shown by the IGEL device serial number. An additional/new attribute with the serial number is therefore confusing and actually not practical. An inventory number is usually used to label a device internally. I see duplicate or very similarly named attributes in an administration interface as unsuitable for practice and confusing what has already happened.

You mean customize the Asset view of a device and Disable (or enable) specific fields to (not) shown. Right?

The fields that we want to edit, i.e. deactivate/hide, are attached.

We have passed this feedback to PM. They are evaluating it. I can’t promise it will get implemented sonish but at least they are looking at it!
